It’s a new month once again … and with a new month comes a new round of transfer bonuses to take advantage of.

Today, we’ll dive into all of this month’s newest transfer bonuses for the top transferable rewards programs.

Here’s everything you need to know!

New Transfer Bonuses

Amex Membership Rewards to Avianca LifeMiles

Through August 31, 2023, you’ll receive a 15% bonus when transferring your Amex Membership Rewards points to Avianca LifeMiles.

One of our favorite ways to redeem Avianca LifeMiles is for Star Alliance business class flights between the U.S. and Europe for 63,000 points, or 55,000 Amex points before the 15% transfer bonus.

Amex Membership Rewards to British Airways Avios

Through August 31, 2023, you’ll receive a 30% bonus when transferring your Amex Membership Rewards to British Airways Executive Club.

British Airways Avios are excellent for short-haul award flights with its Oneworld partner American Airlines. For instance, you can fly between New York and Miami for just 9,000 Avios in economy (7,000 Amex points before the 30% bonus) or 18,000 Avios in first class (14,000 Amex points before the 30% bonus).

Amex Membership Rewards to Hilton Honors

Through August 31, 2023, you’ll receive a 25% bonus when transferring your Amex Membership Rewards to Hilton Honors.

We value Hilton Honors points at 0.5 cents apiece, so you’ll likely lose value by transferring your Amex Membership Rewards unless you have a very high-value redemption lined up.

Amex Membership Rewards to Iberia Plus Avios

Through August 31, 2023, you’ll receive a 30% bonus when transferring your Amex Membership Rewards to Iberia Plus Avios.

Arguably the best use of Iberia Avios is booking one-way Iberia business class tickets between the U.S. and Madrid for as low as 34,000 Avios, which is just 27,000 Amex Membership Rewards points before the 30% bonus.

Chase Ultimate Rewards to Marriott Bonvoy

Through September 30, 2023, you’ll receive a 50% bonus when transferring your Chase Ultimate Rewards to Marriott Bonvoy.

While this might seem like a large transfer bonus, we value Chase points at 2 cents per point and IHG points at 0.7 cents per point, so we’d generally advise against using this transfer bonus unless you need to top off your account for a specific award.

Other Active Transfer Bonuses

In case you missed it, here is another active transfer bonus from an issuer that you can take advantage of as you plan any upcoming travel:

Chase Ultimate Rewards

Hot Tip: You can always keep track of all the latest airline and hotel transfer bonuses using our transfer partner tool calculator!

Final Thoughts

Earning transferable points is always a great idea since they’re so flexible when it comes time to book your trip. And transfer bonuses make transferable rewards even better because you’ll be able to use fewer points and get even more value out of your next award booking!

Remember that transfer bonuses are typically only around for a limited time, so if you’re interested in any of these offers, make sure you take advantage of them before the expiration date.
