It looks like the calculation is off for United Miles. Shouldn’t 60,000 Marriott points give 27,500 United miles? The calculator is showing 27,000 miles (at least in my web browser).

You will receive 27,500 United miles. It displays as 22,000 miles initially. However, you’ll receive a 15,000 Marriott point bonus transferred to United at the 3:1.1 ratio, which means you’ll receive 5,500 miles on top of your 22,000 miles for a total of 27,500 United miles. Thanks for reading.

Thanks for reading. This tool is designed for transfers from flexible rewards points to airline miles, not the other way around.
Generally, these transfers can only be in one direction, so you’re mostly out of luck if you want something else from your Avios. You can redeem Avios for some fabulous airplane tickets though, even in business and first class! Find out more by reading this guide:

That would largely depend on the award availability for the dates you want to travel. But generally speaking, your best option for tickets between Dubai and Singapore, and Istanbul to NYC, would be using the ANA Mileage program to fly Star Alliance carriers, assuming you are planning to book roundtrip tickets.

Ultimate Rewards points earned from your Chase Sapphire Preferred or Chase Sapphire Reserve card can be transferred to airline and hotel transfer partners. They can also be redeemed through the Chase Travel Portal with a 25% and 50% bonus, respectively. If you hold both a Chase Sapphire Preferred/Reserve and one of the Freedom cards you can pool these points together to use transfer partners or use the Travel portal bonus, but those options are not avaiblable if you only hold a Freedom card.

Hi, first time attempting to book using miles or points. I’ve come here for advice.
I have around 90,000 Etihad miles and my CC has 884,000 star rewards (which apparently I can transfer to Etihad miles and earn around 73,000)
Another alternative is to transfer the lot to Emirates Skywards: 16 Rewards = 1 Skywards Mile.
This is the goal: book three tickets from DXB or AUH to Tokyo.
How can I get started with this?

If you are looking to book through Delta, you will not be able to transfer your Chase Ultimate Rewards points or your Citi ThankYou Rewards as Delta is not a partner of that program. Hey, loving the calculator!
Just wanted to share some intel I came across. I don’t know if you guys already knew this, but there’s an offer from LifeMiles that’s not offered by American Express. They’re offering a one-sided bonus of 15% on top of the total transfer amount for transferring from Amex, but you have to initiate the transfer by May 31, 2023.
It’s worth noting that all references to the promotion and the execution of the bonus seem to be solely the responsibility of LifeMiles, not Amex. Is that why this particular offer isn’t advertised on this site’s calculator page?

I need some input on how to best use my points (or just pay cash). Looking to book a 1 way ticket business from Sydney to Houston for November. Have 250K points on a chase Reserve card and 210K on a chase Ink business. I also have 1.3M Venture Capital One points.

There are quite a few great options in there like Avianca, Qantas, and Virgin Atlantic, all of which can be transfered to from either Chase or Capital One. I would also recommend using free award search tools like Seats.aero and pointsyeah.com.

Super helpful tool. I just transferred and used rewards point for a Hyatt stay , yay!! Now we are planning a trip to Europe. Do you have a guide for that? Also, can I share Chase Ink points with my spouses Chase Ink account? Thanks!

Hi, I am based out of Montreal, Canada and have combined 170k points in Amex and Aeroplan. I am looking to make a flight ticket in next 2-3 months to Delhi, India in premium economy or Business class wherever I get best option. Can someone please guide what steps should I take to make the reservation using best option?
Note: I am Canadian and my Aeroplan and Amex points are from Canadian credit cards.
