If you read the small prints, the Provident World+ Travel Visa Signature Card has no annual fees for the first year then a $45 fee after. It still has the lowest annual fees out of all the cards on the list.

But it looks like you have to start an account with the credit union, with a minimum of $2500 in assets.

It still needs to be updated – the United Business Card does not give the benefit.

Do you know if any of the cards will cover the $25 replacement fee if the global entry card is lost?

Hi Tim,
I’m not sure if the cards would cover that fee. My hunch would be that, as long as the purchase codes that it is from Global Entry, the purchase should be reimbursed…but your mileage may vary of course. Let me know if it works for you!

Does the Global Entry reimbursement cover both me and my husband, would we get $200 refund?

United MileagePlus cards discontinued the Global Entry compensation in 2015.

Hi AMH. Your link refers to the United MileagePlus program that provided Global Entry compensation for United MileagePlus elite members, which as you mentioned, ended in 2015. This article contains information about United-branded credit cards (and many other credit cards) that provide a Global Entry, TSA PreCheck, or NEXUS, fee reimbursement credit for cardholders, which is an entirely different benefit. Thanks for reading and for your comment.

Have you seen the Global Entry/Nexus credit work to get a replacement Global Entry card ($25 fee)?

Hi Justin,
We’ve not seen any data points for this but it is certainly possible that it might work.

Are there any cards that do not charge an annual fee that reimburse for TSA/GLOBAL entry fees? Thanks.

Hi DP,
There are a couple of cards that have a $0 introductory annual fee – United Explorer Card and Capital One Spark Miles for Business. The Truist Enjoy Travel Credit Cards has an $85 credit that will cover TSA PreCheck or most Global Entry.

Do all of these cards reimburse for global entry renewal? vs initial application? The cost is the same. Will the bank/credit card know it’s a renewal? Specifically the US Bank altitude connect.

Hi Juli,
Yes, it should reimburse the cost of your renewal.
