Use your card and earn 6 bonus TrueBlue points per dollar for all purchases made directly with JetBlue Airways. TrueBlue is JetBlue’s loyalty program.

You’ll also earn 2 True Blue bonus points per dollar at restaurants and office supply stores. All other purchases are worth 1 TrueBlue point per dollar.

There’s no limit to the number of points you can earn, and they never expire as long as you keep your account active. Redeem your TrueBlue points for JetBlue flights, and you can get any seat with no blackout dates.

Every time you redeem TrueBlue points, you get 10% back. This rebate can go toward your next redemption, increasing the value of your points by 10% overall. For example, redeem 20,000 points and you’ll get 2,000 back.

In addition to all of the above benefits, you save 50% on inflight purchases such as wine, beer, cocktails, meals, and JetBlue movies.

Bottom Line: For $99 a year, The JetBlue Business card gives you a free first checked bag, 5,000 anniversary points, a 10% points redemption rebate, and a 50% in-flight discount.

Business Perks

The sign-up bonus, benefits, and annual points that come with business card are almost identical to the The JetBlue Plus Card with a couple key differences.

You get 2x bonus points at office supply stores instead of grocery stores, and there is no 0% intro APR on balance transfers. Plus, enjoy perks geared toward small business owners.

Get your business name embossed on your credit card. Also receive a credit line in the name of your business and free cards for your employees.

Set controls on the employee cards such as credit lines, single purchase limits, and the amount of cash that can be accessed. Each month you’ll get a consolidated statement that shows all of the purchases made by you and your employees.

As a small business owner, you can rely on a dedicated credit line as a source of working capital. The card also comes with $0 fraud liability protection, so you are completely protected against unauthorized use.

Do you travel for business (or pleasure)? You’ll have access to cash through convenience checks and ATMs around the world. Plus, there are no foreign transaction fees with the card, and its chip technology means easier processing.

JetBlue Badges and Mosaic

Purchase at least $50,000 on the card between January and December to enjoy TrueBlue Mosaic benefits for the rest of that year plus the following year.

Non-cardholders must fly 30 segments and earn 12,000 base points OR earn 15,000 base points to qualify.

Mosaic is a badge in the TrueBlue Badges program, which gives cardholders the opportunity to earn bonus points and prestige for accomplishing goals. Depending on your travel habits, you can earn over 400 loyal, partner, and travel badges after signing up.

Badge requirements vary. Earn 50 points for linking your account to Facebook, 500,00 points for flying to every destination city, or something in between!

The Mosaic Badge gives you benefits like 15,000 points, 3x bonus points when purchasing JetBlue flights, and the opportunity to book Even More Space seats that have additional legroom.

You also receive up to 2 pieces of free checked luggage for everyone on your itinerary, an expedited security line, early boarding, and complimentary alcoholic beverages during flights.

There are no change fees, and you won’t be charged for cancellations. Plus, you’ll have access to a dedicated customer service line.

Best Way To Redeem TrueBlue Points

When you earn miles with The JetBlue Business card, you want to get as much value out of them as possible. Check out our redemption tips below:

Tip #1: Redeem TrueBlue points for flights on JetBlue. Go to jetblue.com/trueblue and sign in to search for flights using your points.

Unfortunately, you can’t predict how many points you need for a flight without doing a search. JetBlue doesn’t publish an awards chart since the points required for an award flight are based on the published fare at the time you book.

This can be a good thing if you see a fare go down, because that means you won’t need as many points to book it!

The other airline that accepts TrueBlue points for redemption is Hawaiian Airlines. Book your Hawaiian Airlines flight on hawaiianair.com or by calling 1-877-HA-MILES (426-4537) and giving your TrueBlue number.

Tip #2: Combine cash and TrueBlue points for JetBlue Vacation Getaways. You can’t use points only for these air and hotel packages, but if you need more points to qualify you can purchase them. The minimum purchase is 1,000 points for $37.63.

Additional points are available for purchase in increments of 500, up to a total of 30,000 points.

Tip #3: Subscribe to a variety of magazines and newspapers with TrueBlue points. Magazine subscriptions start at 400 points.

The number of points needed to redeem for newspaper subscriptions depends on your location.

Tip #5: Transfer points to another TrueBlue member using a member-to-member transfer. Just go to the buy or transfer points page and follow the directions.

Best Way To Maximize TrueBlue Points

Earning TrueBlue Points with The JetBlue Business card is easy when you know how. We created the following list to give you an idea of the options:

Tip #1: Spend the required amount to earn the sign up bonus before the allotted time expires! Don’t leave any sign up bonus on the table; they’re typically the most valuable thing about signing up for a card.

Tip #2: Get your employees authorized user cards. It’s free, and you’ll get the points they earn automatically. Plus, you can manage credit lines, single purchase limits, and cash access for employee cards online.

Tip #3: The card is made for small business owners, but that doesn’t mean you can’t take advantage of benefits like Family Pooling. JetBlue is one of the only airlines to allow cardholders to combine points with family members (up to 2 adults and 5 children) for free.

Everyone collects points individually and then pools them together. It will be even easier to reach high redemption goals for huge rewards!

Tip #4:As a TrueBlue member, you can fly Hawaiian Airlines and earn points. Book your Hawaiian Airlines flights through Jetblue.com and enter your TrueBlue number, or speak to a reservation agent when you call 1-800-JETBLUE (538-2583).

You can also book directly through Hawaiian Airlines at hawaiianair.com and then call 1-977-HA-MILES to add your TrueBlue number.

If you fly Hawaiian Airlines and forget to add your TrueBlue number, you can request points within 7-90 days after your flight. Just go to the Request Missing Points page.

Tip #5: Many small business owners dine out with employees and clients regularly. Sign up for TrueBlue Dining and earn 1 extra point for every dollar spent (2 points if you have the Mosaic Badge) at participating restaurants.

You already earn 2 points per dollar for using the card, and joining the TrueBlue Dining program would bring you to 3 points per dollar. There are over 11,000 restaurants worldwide in the program.

Tip #6: Travel with JetBlue travel partners for business and pleasure to earn additional points.

In addition to Hawaiian Airlines, choose from Silver Airways, Singapore Airlines, Emirates, South African Airways and JetSuiteX when booking flights. JetBlue also has a wide variety of hotel and car rental partners.

Tip #7: Book flights on JetBlue to get the best earnings value. It’s possible to earn as many as 14x points (17x points as a Mosaic member) for JetBlue flights!

To break it down, you can earn 6x points for using your card, 3x points as a TrueBlue member, and 3x-5x points for your tickets depending on the type of fare you purchase (Blue Fare 3x, Blue Plus Fare 4x, Blue Flex Fare 5x, Mint Fare 3x).

Alternatives to The JetBlue Business Card

There aren’t many drawbacks to The JetBlue Business card other than the $99 annual fee, though the sign-up bonus points typically more than makes up for it.

It would be nice to have the 0% intro APR for making balance transfers like you get with the other cards, but the card still has a lot to offer compared to other airline credit cards.

For instance, the United℠ Explorer Card has a similar sign-up bonus, but it only earns 2x miles for United Airlines purchases. However, it does give you the first year free before charging a $95 annual fee.

The Southwest Rapid Rewards® Plus Credit Card has a similar sign-up bonus but, like the Chase United MileagePlus® Explorer Card, only earns 2x miles for flights.

Bottom Line: There’s not much of a downside to The JetBlue Business card other than the $99 annual fee, and the benefits easily offset this.

I’m happy to hear that the card wasn’t a mistake on our part – we use Jetblue a lot. I have recently discovered a major downside though… the website is the worst of the worst. There is no way to set up automatic payments online. You send a letter with all info hoping they get it and apply it. After, it won’t reflect the auto payment on the website. Worrying about card payments is not something I want to do. Signed: a recent Jetbluebusiness card holder

Hi cp, we’re a bit confused here… are you referring to the JetBlue website or the Barclay website? We imagine Barclay since your concern is about auto-pay capabilities…

Our writer Jarrod tells me that he holds the American Aviator card with Barclay and he was able to easily set that card to auto-pay the statement balance each month, just like all of his other cards… so he’s a bit confused as to why you would be needing to send in a letter?

In any case, we recommend you give Barclay a call, if you haven’t already (there should be a number on the back of your card), and ask how you can go about setting up an auto-payment for your JetBlue Biz card – we’re pretty certain they’ll be happy to help!

I’m not the OP, but I echo cp’s sentiments. It’s not JetBlue’s website that’s the problem, it’s jetbluebusinesscard.com. Unfortunately, it is not the same site as the Barclay website that I have seen for other cards (my personal Jetblue card and my Apple card, for example). It is the worst credit card site I have ever encountered. For me, the biggest problem is that secure messaging on the card site is broken. I’ll get an email notification that I have received a message, but the jetbluebusinesscard.com inbox shows nothing. I love my personal Jetblue card, so it has been particularly disappointing to see how bad the website for this card is.

I have had the JetBlue Business card for one year, it has not lived up to its expectation. You have zero customer service, the phone gets hung up automatically, sometimes you have to wait for hours to speak at ungodly hours. Why there is no one to speak to? The card got declined at the airport and that is the first time I find out it has been stolen when I am actually holding it in my hand. Worse, I was charged money to FedEx it even though it was not my mistake. Card benefits are not being honored by codeshare flights– why should a customer pay for your internal arrangements with another airline? Even the staff at AA and JetBlue are scratching their heads and don’t know what to do. This airline and its card both are going downhill!
