While you might not hear of Synchrony as often as Chase, Citi, or American Express, they provide over 100 credit card options to consumers. Many of these cards are linked to popular brands including Amazon, eBay, and PayPal.

Some of these cards offer some interesting cash-back opportunities. Synchrony offers a co-branded airline card with Cathay Pacific and their co-branded store cards have been particularly popular as well.

Similar to Comenity Bank, which also offers tons of store-branded credit cards, Synchrony store credit cards are often easier to obtain than some other cards.

One big difference between the two banks is that Synchrony does not have a shopping cart trick that allows applicants to open store cards without a hard pull on their credit reports.

Let’s take a look at the many cards offered by Synchrony and discuss some of the best and most popular cards they provide.

Note: We’ve researched a list of cards that typically offer better rewards than store cards do — and with 0% introductory APR which these cards below do not offer.

Synchrony’s Credit Cards

List of All Synchrony STORE Cards

Hot Tip: All Gap brands store cards (including Athleta, Banana Republic, Gap, and Old Navy were transferred to Barclays as of June 17, 2022.

Best Synchrony Credit Cards

Synchrony offers a wide range of credit cards, but we’ve narrowed down this big list down to our top 3 cards for travel and everyday spending.

Amazon Prime Store Card

The Amazon Prime Store Card offers 5% cash-back on all purchases on Amazon. That alone makes this card worth it for many frequent Amazon shoppers. You must have an eligible Amazon Prime membership to receive the 5% cash-back on your purchases.

If you do not have a Prime membership, you will only be able to use the Amazon.com Store Card, which does not earn 5% cash-back on purchases at Amazon.

Amazon is regularly one of the quarterly bonus categories for cards such as the Chase Freedom Unlimited® Credit Card. But with the Amazon Prime Store Card, you can get 5% cash-back all year.

This card comes with no annual fee.

Cathay Pacific Visa

Book Cathay Pacific business class with a stopover thanks to Asia Miles. Image Credit: Cathay Pacific

The Cathay Pacific Visa is your best bet for a travel rewards card from Synchrony. The card comes with a larger sign-up bonus than you’ll generally find with any Synchrony credit card, and it has a $95 annual fee that is not waived the first year.

It earns 2X miles per dollar on purchases with Cathay Pacific, 1.5X miles per dollar on dining purchases in the U.S. or abroad, 1.5X miles per dollar on other purchases abroad, and 1X miles per dollar on other domestic purchases.

This card doesn’t have foreign transaction fees, so the 1.5X miles per dollar could be useful when traveling abroad. You should still use a card such a the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card that earns more valuable points on bonus categories such as dining and travel when abroad.

If you’re a more advanced user of miles and points, you can redeem Asia Miles for some awesome trips on Cathay Pacific and their partners.

Sam’s Club Mastercards

Synchrony offers both a business and personal version of the Sam’s Club Mastercard. These cards both earn 5% cash-back on purchases at gas stations and 3% cash-back at restaurants. All other purchases earn 1% cash-back.

The 5% cash-back at gas stations is limited to your first $6,000 spent. Additionally, a maximum of $5,000 in cash-back may be earned in total per calendar year.

Sam’s Club also offers store card versions, but they cannot be used at other merchants. While the Mastercard versions can be used at any merchant that accepts Mastercard, the Sam’s Club Credit Card can only be used at Sam’s Club and Walmart.

Neither version of the Sam’s Club Mastercard has an annual fee, but they do require a Sam’s Club membership.

Verizon Visa Rewards Card

Offered exclusively to Verizon Wireless customers, the Verizon Visa Rewards card is an excellent no-annual-fee card option for those who have their cell phone through Verizon Wireless. The card earns Verizon Dollars, which can be redeemed for any Verizon products or services. Each Verizon dollar is equivalent to $1 in value, and there are no caps on earning or expiration dates.

The rewards rate for the Verizon Visa card is quite strong, offering 4% back on gas and grocery purchases, 3% back on dining purchases, 2% back on Verizon purchases (including your phone bill), and 1% back on all other purchases.

Cardholders will receive a few solid perks, too. For starters, cardholders will receive up to $100 in wireless bill credits over 24 consecutive months for monthly bill payments — this breaks down to about $4.16 each month. You’ll also be eligible for an auto-pay discount of $5 to $10 each month when you use your card to pay your Verizon bill, depending on the type of plan you have. This perk alone could be hugely beneficial if you plan to stay with Verizon long term, as you’ll save $60-$120 each year.

All in all, the Verizon card is a fantastic option for Verizon customers, that offers great discounts and great bonus categories, all for a no annual fee card!

There are many other Synchrony cards, but let’s take a look at some of their most popular cards.

American Eagle Outfitters Visa Card

Earn rewards with American Eagle Outfitters and Aerie. Image Credit: DW labs Incorporated via Shutterstock

American Eagle Outfitters is a retail clothing store geared toward college-aged young adults. Additionally, they launched Aerie to compete with brands such as Victoria’s Secret.

The AEO Connected Visa Credit Card earns 15 points per $1 spent at American Eagle or Aerie stores. All other purchases earn 5 points per $1.

Once a shopper reaches 2,5000 points, they receive a $10 reward coupon that can be used toward future purchases with either brand.

Cardholders will also receive free standard shipping, a 20% off birthday coupon, a personal shopping day coupon, special cardholder events, and more.

Ashley Advantage Credit Card

The Ashley Furniture HomeStore credit card (review) is more of a financing program than a true credit card. It can only be used at Ashley Furniture HomeStores and offers 4 different financing offers upon sign-up.

The 6- and 12-month financing plans do not require a minimum purchase, and the purchase may be made online or in-store and combined with discount offers.

The 24- and 48-month plans have minimum purchase requirements, but the purchase may still be completed online or in-store. It cannot be combined with discount offers.

The 60-month financing plan is only valid for in-store purchases and cannot be used with discount offers.

Banana Republic Visa Credit Card

This card was moved to Barclays as of June 17, 2022.

Belk Store Credit Cards

Belk offers 3 versions of their store card, but you have to reach spending thresholds to be upgraded from the basic Belk Rewards card.

The Belk Rewards card earns 1 point per dollar at Belk and allows returns without a receipt. If you spend $600 in a calendar year, you get these benefits plus special savings offers. With $1,500 in spending in a calendar year, more benefits are added including free shipping, quarterly “Pick Your Own Sales Days” that provide 20% off, and a 20% off coupon for your birthday.

Chevron and Texaco Visa Credit Cards

The Chevron and Texaco Visa cards earn 3 cents per gallon in fuel credits on purchases with Chevron and Texaco. Additionally, you can earn 10 cents per gallon in fuel credit when you spend $300 at other merchants each month. If you spend $1,000 at other merchants in a given month, you’ll receive a discount of 20 cents per gallon.

These fuel credits must be redeemed at Chevron or Texaco gas stations.

Discount Tire Store Credit Card

The Discount Tire/America’s Tire credit card provides a no-interest promo for your first purchase. The promotional no-interest timeframe can be 6 months, 9 months, or 12 months.

To qualify for 6 months of no interest, your purchase must be between $199 and $999.99. To qualify for 9 months of no interest, your purchase must be between $1,000 and $1,499.99. Finally, purchases of $1,500 or more qualify for a no-interest 12 months.

(There are also many credit cards with 0% interest rates for up to 18 months if that’s something you’re specifically looking for in a card.)

Lowe’s Store Cards

Get a 5% discount on all purchases at Lowe’s. Image Credit: Lowe’s

The Lowe’s Advantage Card provides a 5% discount on all purchases from Lowe’s. You can also choose to receive a 6-month special financing promotion if your purchase is at least $299. If your project will cost over $2,000, you will be eligible for project financing.

Additionally, Lowe’s offers 2 business credit cards through Synchrony that provides the 5% discount.

American Express also provides a co-branded Lowe’s card that provides a 5% discount at Lowe’s but can be used at other merchants as well.

Rooms To Go Credit Card

The Rooms To Go credit card provides a promotional offer of interest-free financing for 60 months on qualifying purchases.

Similar to the credit card from Ashley Furniture HomeStore, the Rooms To Go credit card really only provides an option to finance purchases since the card cannot be used anywhere else.

TJX Rewards® Credit Card

The TJX Rewards card (sometimes called the T.J. Maxx credit card) is part of the Mastercard network, so it can be used at other merchants as well. There is also a store card version that can only be used at stores that are part of TJX Companies.

Both cards earn 5X points per dollar at T.J. Maxx, Marshalls, HomeGoods, and Sierra Trading Post stores, while the Mastercard also earns 1X points per dollar on purchases at other merchants.

For every 1,000 points you earn, you will receive a $10 certificate that can be redeemed at any of the stores in the TJX family.

Walmart Credit Cards

The Walmart credit card earns 3% back on Walmart.com. Image Credit: BCFC via Shutterstock

Walmart is ending its relationship with Synchrony. In Q3 or Q4 2019, existing accounts will be transferred to Capital One, and all new accounts from the will be issued by Capital One.

The Walmart Mastercard and the Walmart credit card each earn 3% back on purchases made on Walmart’s website, 2% back on gas station purchases with Walmart or Murphy USA (though not Murphy Express), and 1% back on other purchases across the Walmart brands.

The Walmart MasterCard can be used at other merchants, and it earns 1% back on those purchases.

Synchrony Credit Cards – Getting Approved

While Synchrony does not have a “Shopping Cart Trick” like Comenity Bank credit cards to make approvals much easier, they are still considered a bank that is more likely to approve applicants.

To give yourself the best chance of approval, make sure you take care of your credit score. If you pay off your credit card bill and never carry a balance, your credit score will be in much better shape.

If you’re not paying off your card completely (which you really should be!) as a general rule, make sure that you’re not within 60% of your credit limit usage at the time of statement closing. If you ignore this, you’ll be demonstrating that you’re a consumer who really needs the bulk of their limit, which is a worrying sign to the banks!

The goal is to pay off your statement every month. If you can’t, then make sure that the payment you make reduces any balance to less than 60% of your credit limit.

For example, if your credit limit is $500, make sure your closing balance (after making a payment) is less than $300. The lower, the better!

Also, keep your oldest credit card open since the length of your opened accounts is an important part of building a foundation for your credit score.

There are many reports of people being approved for Synchrony store cards with credit scores in the 600s. While there are many factors for approval and this doesn’t make an approval a guarantee, it can give you an idea of what to expect with Synchrony credit cards.

If this credit score is still too much of a leap for you, consider starting with a secured credit card.

Easy Credit Cards To Get (Low or No Credit)

We recommend the The OpenSky® Secured Visa® Credit Card which doesn’t require a credit check and is a solid option for those looking to boost their credit score.

By boosting your score, you’ll have a much stronger chance of applying for more premium (and rewarding) cards.

Hot Tip: If you’d like more options, you can read our dedicated article on the easiest credit cards to get approved for.

Final Thoughts

While there are clearly tons of options for credit cards from Synchrony, what they have in quantity, they seriously lack in quality.

The Amazon Store Card, Sam’s Club cards, and Cathay Pacific Visa card might be useful to a small segment of the population, but there’s a reason we don’t hear about Synchrony cards as much as Chase or American Express.

When it comes to earning miles and points for travel, Synchrony has almost nothing to offer. The Cathay Pacific Visa has its place, but it’s definitely not for beginners.

If you’re just starting out, stick with earning Chase Ultimate Rewards and follow our express guide for beginners to make the most of your credit card applications.

The worst bank ever, don’t deal with them because they have the worst customer service and they will close your account for no reason. You will regret the moment you deal with Synchrony.

This “bank” is a scam. They will give you credit, and without reason, will lower your credit score by decreasing your available credit so they can charge you more interest. It’s a scam.

Synchrony Bank issues about 190 credit cards, including store cards.

I fell behind on one of my cards and they closed two accounts and dropped all my credit limits because of one month accident as I was switching bank accounts, I was late on the accounts and I get massively punished by dropping my credit limit which dropped my credit score A LOT!!! taken over a year now and still my credit is not up to where it was before… sucks!!!

Synchrony Bank keeps increasing my credit limit, I guess that happens when I buy something from Google and then pay it off and then buy something else and pay it off again. So far I have a good experience with synchrony bank.

You have to watch out doing online bill payments with this bank, at least if you have a bank account with Chase. I’ve had several occasions where they’ve pulled the money out after 9 PM, and the drafts do a hard post to your bank account that night. Therefore, unless you’re not already in bed and are looking at your text and email low balance alerts, you have no idea you’re getting ready to overdraft. Chase will then post the largest drafts first causing anything less that was originally covered by your balance to also overdraft. I’ve overdrafted several times because of this.

Synchrony will also destroy your credit by automatically closing accounts not used in the last twelve months.

I agree we should file a class-action suit. The same issues that you all have had, I have also. This bank will close your account for no reason, or they will lower your credit limit for no reason. They will not even let you know that they are doing this. I have never missed a payment, always paid on time, and even paid off balances early on the following cards:
Amazon credit limit $ 650.00 dropped my limit to $100.00
TJMaxx credit limit $1450.00 dropped my limit to $450.00
Belks credit limit $1,500 dropped my limit to $400.00
Old Navy credit limit $ 1250 dropped my limit to $ 450.00
Walmart credit limit $1,500 dropped my limit to $1,100.00
Ashley Furniture credit limit $1,500 closed my account
I paid off my cards and will never use them again, with the exception of Walmart because Capital One services this account now. I very upset about this because I have worked really hard to build my credit, all to have sets back like this!

Synchrony bank cannot be reached. I’ve been trying to reach their fraud department for 4 days, and it doesn’t matter what time of day it is, I always get a recording telling me they are closed and to please call back during normal business hours. Who knew that 8 am on a Friday, 10 AM on a Tuesday, and noon on any workday is NOT during normal business hours? Get your crap together Synchrony!

My trouble started with Synchrony Bank as soon as I bought my home. I was never late on any of my payments on my credit cards with Synchrony bank. Two of them had a zero balance. But after I bought my house they started lowering all my balances citing because of the balance on my home. I just bought it like less than 6 months ago so of course the balance owed on my house was high. My daughter paid her balance off on two of her cards and then they closed her accounts. My Walmart account they sold to Capitol One. I say they’re in some kind of trouble and are just liquidating accounts. But its hurting people’s credit with what they’re doing. It’s not if you miss a payment, they are lowering credit amounts and closing a counts that are in good standing and selling off others. I think they are in some kind of trouble and I for one am paying off my accounts with them and will never do business with them ever again. They and Wells Fargo are sheisty.

Exposing the truth about Synchrony

February 01, 2020

Synchrony bank will close your account if there is no activity for 6 months and you have a zero balance.. This happened with my Walmart Gas Card and JCPenny card. I had always bought Christmas with my JC penny card and paid it off withing months later. I was shocked when I went into a JC Penny store 8 years ago only to find that my card was cancelled for non-use. I have NEVER SHOPPED at JCPenny’s since. Kohls has always treated me rights. They have been getting my business every since.
With regards to my Walmart Gas Card. I have never used Walmarts gas again once my account was also closed due to several months of non-use. There was never an advance notice to say that if you don’t make a purchase soon, we are pulling the plug. Synchrony needs to take a good look at the definition of customer service and loyalty. Or maybe, they just don’t care.

Ray

May 21, 2020

Couldn’t agree more, they are the worst. They will close your account for no good reason even with perfect payment records. I would never even open to apply for a Synchrony card again. Capital one and others are so much better ant handling customers’ needs. Avoid Synchrony at any cost. They are good for nothing.

Used to have the following with this lot:
Care Credit
Rooms to Go
Car Care
Amazon store card
PayPal credit
Every single one closed on 5/21. All used in the last 6 months, all had a low balance around 4%, all paid on time. How do I know they were all closed? My credit monitoring service. Not them.
Moral of the story is this: Avoid Synchrony like the plague/Covid.
That said, sometimes you can’t avoid them – case in point is PayPal as that was not Synchrony – they acquired PayPal Credit.

Please do not use this bank at all, they will crash your credit. I will never do business with this bank and the people who use this bank. They are very bad people.

September 12, 2020

I have just started experiencing the same issue with Synchrony bank. I have several credit cards with them with zero balance. I received a letter stating they closed my Lumber Liquidators credit card again for bogus reasons listed and I had a zero balance on the card. I have purchased $20,000 worth of flooring using the card and paid them off right away. The LL store actually pushed the card on me when they were having specials. I am not blaming LL as it was me that said yes to the card. I started doing some research online and found out some alarming things that I am going to contact our state political representatives about as I believe the same thing is going on with Synchrony Bank and its card members as what happened back in 2012 and the IRS. Do some research and you will find out what I found out. By Synchrony Bank closing the card it will put a bad mark on your Credit Score. That is horribly wrong and a very bad practice. They are doing this for a reason and its not a good one.

November 10, 2020

I thought I was the only one going through something with them, I have several cards with them, I had a stellar credit payback rating of 100% I missed one payment and they charged me a lot of interest. Once my cards closed out they were still charging me. I didn’t/don’t know who to go to, to complain except the BBB.

Very Happy Customer

November 13, 2020

I absolutely love Synchrony Bank! I have 10 of their credit cards — never once had a problem! I get more credit card increases than any other carrier (Capital One, Discover, American Express, Citibank, etc.). Yes, I too had a couple of their cards canceled once (JC Penney, Chevron), however, that was due to inactivity. Any credit card issuer will do that! Once, when I accidentally missed a payment on Amazon, they simply waived the fee — that was it. My credit utilization is only 2%. That helps me tremendously! All these horror stories I am reading above, I simply cannot relate to! Synchrony Bank has been an absolute delight to deal with! Some of you, who max out your cards, miss payments, then gripe about it, you get what you deserve! It is just the truth! All this baloney about class action lawsuits — get real people! It is laughable! You are all NOT victims! Wise up!

TruthbeTold

November 25, 2020

Lol there are 1000’s of bad experiences with Synchrony, in fact, do your research, please. They use to be GE capital which was sued for discrimination as well as other sketchy practices which brings us to the now. Walmart sued them because they were basically dishonest with their customers. You either work for them or have serious issues thinking that all these people are lying. I hope what is happening to all of them will not happen to you but give it a few months and we shall see. Unless of course you’re one of their awful customer service representatives OR employed by them. I truly hope a Class Action Lawsuit comes up against this company because they are in fact hateful and ruining people’s credit left and right as you can tell by the comments and this isn’t a new thing!!! They have been doing it for YEARS!

I had several synchrony cards. I have paid them off in full every year. They recently closed all my cards because of an algorithm said I might be a risk of not paying? I have never been late on any cards. Several of the cards had a zero balance too.

Synchrony Bank HATER

Synchrony Bank is the worst bank in the world!

Denver Mom

March 01, 2021

Last month (Feb 2021, I spent about $120 on my Amazon Store Card. I paid in full two days before the due date of 2/10/2021. The statement printed $0 balance on 2/15/2021. Synchrony reported a $0 balance on 2/18/2021. Then I spent about $400 on the card, and do you know how they rewarded me for always paying early and in full? They reported my current spending to the Credit Bureaus! Ten days after the bill closed, and one week after the $0 balance report, they re-reported my current charges. Those charges have not been billed yet, so the Grace Period to pay in full won’t even begin until 3/15/2021 and those charges are not due until 4/10/2021! But on 2/25/2021 they reported new charges that I just made on 2/21/21, 2/22/21, and 2/23/21. What are they up to? Do the bureaus really need to know that I bought a few things at Amazon before those charges are even due? Is this their way to punish me because I get 5% cash back on this card and never pay any interest? Seriously, these guys act like a crime syndicate.

kimberli neeson

April 19, 2021

I agree with everyone else. Credit Karma sent me some emails and I went on there and I saw that 5 of my accounts from Synchrony Bank were closed. Two of them Lowes and Belk Mastercard I still had a balance on them. I didn’t get a warning about them closing the accounts and I had never missed a payment. The cards that have a balance, I am contemplated not paying them since they closed them. They have too much power.

Every horror story I read above is exactly what has happened to me. I paid off 4 of my big accounts, Amazon, Sam’s Club, QVC, and PayPal. Started to pay my monthly bills, checked in on my BP gas card, account closed. There has been a 0 balance for 2 months, I went around for 30 minutes until one “person” I use that word very loosely, said you will be getting a letter in the mail, and repeated that after every question I asked. I proceeded to the next account, the same thing…round and round I went for 4 hours. Finally, a wonderful lady knew what had happened, it all stemmed from my Sam’s club card that I had a business check paying the balance off, told the girl in Sam’s that it could not go through as an EFT, she said “oh that doesn’t mean anything”, scanned it gave me my paid receipt and the check back. When I got home I called the number on the back of my card and told the man what just happened, he said: “no problem, just give me the routing number and account number”…All Done. Three days later I get a call saying my account is blocked due to that check not clearing, I explained all that had happened, she said “put the check in the mail, it should arrive before your due date.” Don’t know if that payment ever arrived but now I have not 1 account closed, I have 4 more and I am sure there will be others to follow with all the reviews I have just read. My BP account I have had for over 27 years. Closed without a word…needless to say, I am very angry with Synchrony…beware people.

Do not get a Synchrony Bank credit card for any reason! They will all of a sudden close your credit card, without any prior notice, based on your credit score only. I kept my payments current and even paid off large balances early but that made no difference. Their computer just decided to close my account because my credit score dropped below their threshold limit. I repeat do not apply for or accept a Synchrony bank credit card!

In five simple words and then some, stay away from this bank!
I had several cards with them since 2014 and always paid them off and on time. Then, Covid happened and they panicked. They closed all my cards except for the one with the highest interest rate. So, I did them a favor as they did for me and at least called them and not like how they did me on mute, to cancel the remaining card. My credit score is nearly 800+, so I don’t know what their problem is. The same happened to my daughter and a co-worker who had cards with this bank. Like me, they were puzzled and didn’t understand why some, not all credit cards were closed without notice.
Again, stay away from Synchrony Bank, as well as all their financial dealings. Trust me, you will thank all the negative reviews written here and abroad! It is something sinister about their practices, but I can not put my finger on it. At least I can try to save someone else from disappointment.

Synchrony is the worst credit card company I’ve dealt with. I currently hold cards from Chase, Citi, Bank of America, and Amex, for many years on each, and with no problems with any. But when Synchrony recently offered me 2% cash-back, I figured why not go for the extra half a percent. They gave me a card claiming a $14,000 limit, but by the time we’d made our 5th charge (totaling well under $1000), they started blocking charges. After calling them and clearing that up, it was only another half-dozen charges before they started blocking again. No notice from them either time. Responsible firms call or email or text when they question a charge. Not Synchrony.

Their phone support is slow, stupid, rude, and barely speaks English. Their website is only half functional. When asked why no contact when they questioned charges, their line is “We’re only a phone call away.” Right, I’m in a checkout line, they’ve with no warning blocked a charge at the grocery store, and I’m to spend 15 minutes on hold phoning them?

This needs updating again. I believe a couple of the above have changed – but I don’t remember off the top of my head. I do know that there is a Walgreens card that needs to be added – a store card & a Mastercard.

Synchrony does play the credit trick and they do pull Soft checks using a third party. Just had it done to me. TransUnion confirmed this. Although Synchrony sent me a letter saying that they used TU to pull my credit, they did not. Lying, dishonest company with customer service no better than a bag of garbage.

I had a card with this bank that was opened on 6/28/10 for a purchase through Discount Tire with a balance of $872.00. The card was paid off on 3/17/11 and the account was closed 4/16/15. This account was used just one time. On 9/30/20, I returned to Discount Tire and paid cash to have my tires rotated and balanced. On 12/26/20 Synchrony bank on behalf of Discount Tire ran my credit report. I found this out when I ran a personal check of my credit on 1/21/21. Since I had not applied for credit I called the bank and asked how they had the authority to run a credit check on me. They sent me a letter dated 2/5/21 claiming they ran the check off the credit app I had submitted 6/28/10. If that is the case then they are in clear violation of federal law. There was no current application for credit pending. This also begs the question as to why after all the years and just shortly after my visit to Discount Tire did my name pop up for a credit check for Discount Tire. My opinion is that there is collusion going on between the two entities.

I’m new to synchrony as of 2022. I opened up a Care Credit account to pay for an expensive dental procedure. It’s been 2 months and I’ve since paid off 90% of the credit utilized, and was in the process of making the final payment to zero out my balance-but this thread has me scared to do so! I’m realizing a lot of people were punished for paying off balances early/in full…only to have their accounts closed or limits reduced which hurts their credit! How is this legal? Why do so many with the same experience of being punished credit-wise for doing the right thing? I cannot believe this.

Synchrony purposely failed to bill me for my accounts with JCPenney and Lowe’s so they could collect a late fee and interest. When I called to complain, they dropped the late fee, but tried to blame the no billing on the postal service. Each time I talked with a customer service rep, he or she obviously read from a script. I cancelled the Penney’s card. I only use my Lowe’s card for big purchases a few times a year, so I am tracking my charges on line, then go to the store to make payment. I wrote a detailed letter to Synchrony stating if the failure to bill happened again I would contact the BBB and my state’s attorney general fraud division. I received an obvious form letter in return. I will never open another card with Synchrony. I am trying to retain the Lowe’s card because the discount is so helpful (which I pay off in full before interest accrues) when making a large purchase.

How do I add a card user to my account and more benefits?

Christine Krzyszton

February 14, 2023

Hi Amanda. To inquire about benefits for your specific card, you can access the material you received with the card, log in to your card account online, or contact the issuer via the number on the back of the card. You may be able to add a user in your online card account or by calling the same number.
