What is the minimum spending requirement when you first get your card, that entitles you to the companion fare?

Hi Marilyn. The requirements can differ by card and the specific welcome bonus can change so always check for the current offer before applying. Currently, however, you must spend $2,000 in the first 90 days to qualify for the welcome bonus which is a $100 statement credit, the companion certificate, and 40,000 Alaska miles for the Alaska Signature card.
