We may be compensated when you click on product links, such as credit cards, from one or more of our advertising partners. Terms apply to the offers below. See our Advertising Policy for more about our partners, how we make money, and our rating methodology. Opinions and recommendations are ours alone.

Capital One and The Cultivist have partnered together to offer a new benefit to Capital One cardholders. If you hold any Capital One consumer or business credit card, you’re eligible to receive a free 6-month membership to The Cultivist, a unique monthly membership where you can get admittance to top museums worldwide for free.

What Is The Cultivist?

When you travel to different cities, you’ll likely want to visit some of the major museums within those cities. Purchasing a ticket at each can usually run you north of $20, sometimes even $40 per visit. Visiting several museums on 1 trip can run you well over $100, a costly affair.

This is where The Cultivist comes in. The membership includes access for you and 3 guests at many of the world’s best museums for 1 low monthly membership fee of $40, which is waived for the first 6 months for Capital One cardholders.

With the partnership, you’ll get access to a complimentary Enthusiast membership for 6 months, which includes tickets for you and 3 guests, as well as skip-the-line access. You’ll also have access to several digital and online events, though obviously, the biggest draw is on-site access.

You can register by visiting the official partner website to have immediate access and explore eligible museums.

Most tickets are delivered electronically through the app, but some require a 24 hours notice, so you’ll want to keep that in mind when planning your visit.

Hot Tip: It’s worth noting that this offer is available through June 22, 2024, so you’d want to wait to activate your offer until you know you’re going to do a lot of traveling and visiting the eligible museums.

Final Thoughts

This is a really unique partnership that can save you a ton of money when traveling, especially since some of the most famous museums in some of the most expensive cities are super pricey. You’ll want to want to activate your membership when you anticipate being able to travel and use the most tickets, but overall, this is a great new partnership and something that may very well worth keeping even beyond the free membership period.
