As hotel chains try to compete for your business, many brands are offering promotions and challenges this fall and winter to encourage you to become loyal.  That’s especially the case now as the summer travel season begins to wind down.

Hilton Honors has introduced its latest promotion that begins for stays on September 6, 2023, and lasts through the end of the year. While Hilton has historically offered double points promos, earning up to triple points isn’t as usual.

Here’s a closer look at the details and how to register.

Hilton’s “Multiply Your Points” Promo

Hilton’s latest promotion gives guests the ability to earn up to 3X points on stays at select properties, with 2X points earnings everywhere else. Here’s how that breaks down more precisely:

Registration is required and it’s best to take a few seconds to add the promo to your account, just in case a Hilton stay pops up through the end of the year. As mentioned, the offer is valid for stays from September 6, 2023, through December 31, 2023.

Hot Tip: You don’t need to re-book any existing Hilton stays that were made prior to registering for the promo. Regardless of when a reservation was booked, any registered guests with nights within the promo period will receive the bonus.

Keep in mind that you’ll earn 2X or 3X on the number of base points; you’ll earn your normal elite tier bonuses and credit card points on top of the promotion.

Only eligible hotel nights count for this offer, though you’ll find that the vast majority of rates are eligible. This is a worldwide promotion, so any Hilton-branded hotel worldwide will count.

Hot Tip: Learn more about how to earn and redeem Hilton Honors points in our detailed guides.

Final Thoughts

While it likely won’t make sense to go out of your way to take advantage of the promo, the Multiple Your Points promotion from Hilton is an easy way to earn up to 3X points at properties worldwide, especially if you already had upcoming stays through the rest of 2023 booked.

My husband and I are attending a bar mitzvah on September 23,2023. We currently have reservations at the Marriott – my sister just texted me and said they cancelling their reservations. We want to stay September 22-25. What would be our rate? Please let me know. Thank you

Kaye, I would advise that you contact the Marriott you booked your reservation with directly. Contact details can also be found online. If you’re interested in staying at a Hilton, please contact that hotel directly. Thanks for reading!
