Capital One To Launch Landings, a New Airport Lounge Dining Concept

When it comes to reimagining the airport lounge and travel experience, Capital One continues to push the envelope.

And the issuer is looking to expand its vision for the travel sector even further with the debut of a new airport lounge dining concept, Capital One Landings.

A New Airport Lounge Dining Concept

Capital One has rapidly increased its ambitions in the travel industry — last year it launched the Capital One Lounge at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) and it has plans to open 2 more lounges at Denver International Airport (DEN) and Dulles International Airport (IAD) in early 2023.

Now, the issuer is developing a new idea with a culinary emphasis. The focal point of this new dining concept — called Capital One Landings — will encompass a brand-new lounge space at busy airports around the country that will deliver a 5-star dining atmosphere in the heart of the airport.

Capital One has partnered with world-renowned chef and humanitarian legend José Andrés and his acclaimed restaurant group, José Andrés Group, to curate and design the menu for Capital One Landings. Guests can expect authentic Spanish tapas and other nutritious and imaginative dishes to take center stage.

This further cements the long-standing partnership between Capital One and Chef José Andrés, who already contributes to the issuer’s Capital One Dining program.

Capital One Landing Locations

The first 2 Capital One Landings locations will debut at the state-of-the-art Terminal B at New York’s LaGuardia Airport (LGA) and at Ronald Reagan National Airport in Washington, D.C. (DCA). These innovative dining experiences will provide passengers with convenient and delicious eating options close to their gates.

The LaGuardia location will be the larger of the 2 and will feature an indoor/outdoor layout and beautiful panoramas of the airport and the New York City skyline. The site will occupy 10,700 square feet within Terminal B.

The Reagan location, conveniently placed in Terminal 2 after security, at the junction of the National Hall and Concourse D, will occupy over 5,400 square feet and provide direct access to Concourses B, C, D, and E.

How To Access Capital One Landings

The exact criteria for entrance into Capital One Landings will be disclosed at a later date, but Capital One has stated that Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Cardholders will have unrestricted access.
