There is a mistake on this article. The three hour restriction does not apply for connecting passengers, only at origin.

Hi Amy. You can book a spa service at the reception desk when you enter the lounge.

Hi
I was drinking water from a plastic cup provided by one of your employees and another employee told us we had to give it back to him because it was against American Express policy.
There was no explanation and we had to stop drinking and hand the cup to him.
Is that a real policy ?
Why did he do that? It was like we were doing something illegal and required him to question the origin of the cups and give them to him.
Thanks

Hi Eduardo! We are UpgradedPoints.com, not American Express. Unfortunately, I don’t know why they told you that you weren’t able to drink from the cups you were provided. For more information on this, and to provide feedback, you’ll want to contact American Express directly.

I Arrived at 6 pm. We have been traveling since early morning and were looking forward to relaxing and having a bite to eat.
But the food is not edible tonight. The service was questionable also. We have been here many times and had a great experience. In fact an excellent experience. But after tonight probably won’t be back.

Hi Julie,
As long as you have an Amex Platinum card, yes, you can visit the lounge and use all of the amenities for free.

What Terminal do American Airlines Flights Arrive & Depart? If it’s not Terminal D, then how can you visit the Centurion Lounge from another Terminal? Thanks.

Hi Pradip,
American Airlines uses all 5 terminal at DFW. If you flight happens to be departing from a Terminal other than Terminal D, you can use the SkyLink train to transfer to Terminal D to access the lounge. Safe travels!

Can’t help but roll my eyes when reading the review of the food. If you’re lactose intolerant you will have a difficult time at the DFW Centurion lounge. They ruin what otherwise would be dairy-free options by putting cheese in/on everything. Example are the eggs in the morning. It’s a choice to be vegan and not eat them but very frustrating for lactose intolerant people who are trying to have a savory breakfast (I don’t want a bunch of sugar).

Gives detailed information such as hours of operation and Terminal exact location at DFW airport, and also found out about other services there like Spa and more.

Are airline employees allowed to enter club in uniform while traveling on a pass? Also is it true that the club has workout equipment?

I am in the Dallas/Ft Worth Centurion Lounge on a regular basis and the menu seems to always be chicken. I am wondering if the chef could change the menu to something different. If price is a factor, meatloaf, spaghetti or pizza would be a good change? Anything but chicken again would be a nice change.
Thank you in advance

The American Express Centurion Lounge at DFW offers an impressive variety of amenities and comfort to transform the traveling experience. I appreciate the effort AMEX has put into this lounge, particularly after its renovation. The strategic positioning near gate D12 and the accessibility through the Sky Train or by foot make it a convenient stop for travelers. Furthermore, the expansion to 13,000 square feet clearly alleviates previous overcrowding complaints, providing a more relaxed ambiance. I lived in Dallas for 20 years now – so I think I know what I am talking about.
The segmentation of the lounge into distinct areas catering to different needs is also commendable. I find the left wing with dining, bar, and diverse seating options particularly enticing. The presence of power outlets for device charging is a thoughtful touch. On the other hand, the right wing offers a more relaxed atmosphere with a coffee station and a “nap” area, although the lack of privacy could be an issue for some.
Additionally, the clear rules regarding access and guest policy provide valuable guidance for travelers planning to use the lounge. The conditions concerning the specific AMEX cards required, the 3-hour rule, and the departure-only usage are noteworthy. Overall, it seems like a worthwhile experience for eligible travelers, and I’m intrigued to see how the Centurion Lounge network grows in the future.
