Are their restrictions due to Covid for picking up a passenger?

Hi Phyllis,
According to the St. Louis airport website, it appears that the only requirement is that you wear a mask if you’re planning to enter the airport.

Flying with delta, are you allowed to pay with cash for checked baggage?

Hi Amya,
Delta does not accept cash or checks for their checked bags, you must pay with either a debit card or credit card.

Currently where is the Terminal 1 passenger pickup area located? Is it still yellow level in the parking garage?

Hi Richard,
Yes, that should be correct. Thanks for reading!

My daughters flight arrives at 1am on the morning of the 18th. Where do I pick her up at? This airport is very confusing to me.

Hi Kimberly,
Ask your daughter which Terminal she will be flying into. Then, when you drive into the airport, follow the posted signs that state “Arrivals”, which will lead you to the arrivals section of the Terminal you need to pick her up at.

My husband and I are first time flyers and are getting ready to fly out of STL. We are going to do the pre-check in the evening before our American Airlines flight but I am confused about checking our bags. It is my understanding that you check bags at the ticker counter at Lambert now, is that correct? And do we do that before or after the TSA check? I have looked everywhere and simply can’t find this information.

Hi Kindra,
You will check your bags first when you arrive to the airport at the ticket desk. From there you will go through TSA and proceeded to your gate. Safe travels!

I have an upcoming connecting flight into STL on Southwest Airlines with a 3-hour layover. My sister and family live in nearby St. Charles that I would enjoy seeing. Several questions:. 1) If they came to the airport where would be the best place for us to get together at the airport? 2) Is there a place we could sit down for something to eat? 3) My sister is elderly and might need a wheelchair — are wheelchairs available? 4) If we were to meet, I presume I would need to just go back through security as if I were on an original flight when it comes time for my flight to leave. In other words is there anything special I need to do or anyone I need to talk with before exiting security and re-entering before my next flight? Thank you.

Hi Evelyn,
There are food and drink options in Terminal 1 prior to security that you could meet at to have a meal. As far as wheelchairs go, you would have to speak to someone who works at the airport to see if they can accommodate that. You shouldn’t need to speak to anyone regarding going back through security, it is fine for you to exit the Terminal and then re-enter since you have a boarding pass.
