Thank you for this guide and for the service you provide. But I have a question about all the partners on Kayak’s website which do the actual booking, are they legit and safe to work with?

Hi Ahmed,
Yes, Kayaks booking partners are legit and safe to book with.

When you set up a search with 2 passengers does kayak give you the ticket price in total or is it per person?

Hi Dollie,
If you’re looking at flight prices then the flight should be per person. If you are looking at hotels then the price should be per night, even if you will have another person staying with you. Safe travels!

If I book through Kayak and it takes me to Etihad.com or turkish.com for payment that means it’s kind of booking straight with the airline and any changes will be dealt directly with the airline? Some prices are almost half the actual airline website that is making me doubtful of Kayak / cheapflights. Has anyone had prior experience with this?

Hi Asim,
If you begin your booking through Kayak, it should always be treated as a 3rd party booking, even if it takes you to the airline website to finalize the booking.
