Branded and Partnered Credit Cards
Capital One Miles Credit Cards
Capital One miles can be transferred to ALL – Accor Live Limitless in around 36 hours at a ratio of 2:1. This is a decent use of Capital One points for hotels because you can get around 1.1 to 1.2 cents per point in value, compared to the standard 1 cent per point of value.
However, you’ll get better value redeeming your Capital One miles for business or first class flights.
Recommended Capital One Cards
Business owners can also choose from a few Capital One business credit cards.
Citi ThankYou Points Credit Cards
Citi ThankYou Points can be transferred to ALL – Accor Live Limitless at a 2:1 ratio. That means it will take 2 Citi ThankYou Points to make 1 ALL Reward point.
You’ll get a flat €40 (~$47) off for every 2,000 Accor points you spend. Since it takes 4,000 Citi points to get 2,00 Accor points, you’ll end up with 1.2 cents per point in value.
This is an okay, but not great, deal since we value Citi ThankYou Points at 1.6 cents each.

Value of ALL – Accor Live Limitless Elite Status
ALL Silver offers little in the way of hotel benefits, but some of the selling points of this tier include late checkout (subject to availability) and a welcome drink.
ALL Gold gets you category room upgrades (subject to availability, excluding suites), a welcome amenity upon check-in, and early check-in or late checkout.
ALL Platinum is where it really starts to get interesting because you’re entitled to 2 Suite Night Upgrades, as well as premium Wi-Fi, early check-in, late checkout, complimentary breakfast every day at Asia Pacific properties, access to Executive Lounges (excludes Fairmont Gold), complimentary soft drinks from the minibar, ironing services, and hotel restaurant and bar benefits.
ALL Diamond is the top-tier status that gets you complimentary breakfast on weekends worldwide (in addition to daily breakfast at Asia Pacific properties), 4 dining and spa reward vouchers (worth €25 (~$29) each), and the ability to gift someone Gold status.
Bottom Line: ALL Platinum is probably the best tier to pursue. You’ll get the most incremental perks, including breakfast in Asia Pacific, check-in and checkout benefits, as well as access to Executive Lounges and 2 Suite Night Upgrades.
Earning ALL – Accor Live Limitless Elite Status
ALL – Accor Live Limitless status is earned on a calendar-year basis. You can earn all elite status tiers except Diamond status based on stays in a calendar year. ALL Diamond requires a significant amount of eligible spending during your stays to qualify and cannot be achieved through stays alone.
For example, if you want to qualify for Platinum status, you must either stay at least 60 nights in a calendar year or make €5,600 (~$6,520) in eligible purchases during your stays every year. That’s because you’ll earn 25 status points for every €10 (~$12) spent. You need 14,000 status points to qualify for ALL Platinum.
Stays at Mama Shelter, Adagio, Adagio Access, ibis, and ibis Styles are not eligible to accrue status points.
If you generally tend to book fewer stays but spend more at the property during each stay, it might be easier to qualify based on status points via purchases.
On the other hand, if you tend to book lots of stays but spend less during each stay, it’ll probably be easier to qualify based on nights.
Elite Tier | # of Nights | Status Points |
Silver | 0 stays | 2,000 |
Gold | 10 stays | 7,000 |
Platinum | 30 nights | 14,000 |
Diamond | 60 stays | 26,000 |
Here’s how many status points you’ll earn by brand:
Adagio Access, Jo&Joe, and Greet | Mantra, Peppers, BreakFree, Art Series, and Adagio | Ibis, Ibis Styles, and Mama Shelter | All Other Accor Brands |
5 status points per €10 (~$12) spent | 10 status points per €10 (~$12) spent | 12.5 status points per €10 (~$12) spent | 25 status points per €10 (~$12) spent |
With all that being said, here’s the minimum required spending to qualify for each elite tier, assuming you are earning 25 status points per €10 (~$12) spent.
Elite Tier | Minimum Required Spending |
Silver | €800 (~$930) |
Gold | €2,800 (~$3,260) |
Platinum | €5,600 (~$6,520) |
Diamond | €10,400 (~$12,100) |
Once you’ve earned elite status, you’ll keep it for the remainder of the current calendar year and through the end of the next year.
How To Earn Reward Points
There are plenty of ways to earn Reward points, and the most obvious is to book stays with its brands.

This nets you a value of approximately 1.6 cents per point.
Shopping and Experiences
ALL has a shopping portal through which you can redeem points for various merchandise, such as wine, knives, bags, Apple accessories, and luggage.

Joining ALL – Accor Live Limitless is totally free and even entry-level Classic members get access to benefits.
When you stay at any property within the ALL – Accor Live Limitless portfolio, you will earn points, get perks, and much more. You can also earn points through the transfer partnership with Capital One miles. You can then redeem your points for free hotel nights, shopping, charity, and even transfer them to airline frequent flyer programs.
Even the entry Classic tier gets you turbocharged with perks like access to private sales on all.accor.com, free Wi-Fi, daily newspapers, and more.
ALL status tiers are Classic, Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond. Each of these tiers, except for the base-level Classic tier, requires a minimum number of nights or a number of status points (which are awarded based on how much you spend during your stay) to qualify.
Depending on which tier you qualify for, you get bonus points, welcome amenities, executive lounge access, free breakfast, suite upgrades, late checkout, early check-in, and more.
Reward points expire after 365 days of earning them. You can reset the expiration timer for another 365 days if you complete a qualifying stay.
They’re identical when used for free hotel stays. Base points are the points you earn as a normal member. Bonus points are earned on top of base points when you have elite status. The amounts can vary from 25% to 75% in bonus points, depending on what status level you have.
If you stay in an ALL property, you can earn 5 to 25 base points for every €10 (~$12) spent.
Because Reward points can be redeemed at a rate of €40 (~$47) for every 2,000 points, we value them at 2.3 cents apiece.
You can convert Reward points to frequent flyer programs by signing into your account and choosing the desired airline partner. The transfer ratios will vary depending on the exact partner, so be sure to double-check before performing the transfer.

Great write-up, as usual, Stephen.
As you are well aware, with most hotel point redemptions, there are no hotel or local taxes paid by the guest (I’m guessing on the grounds that it’s a free stay, and any % of 0 is 0). Do you know if this is the case with Accor Limitless? Given the way their award pricing functions, and with how the program is indifferent as to whether you book with cash and pay with points at checkout or book up front with points, it seems there’s a strong possibility that the guest could be paying taxes with points. Stated differently, there may be no tax advantage to Accor points bookings like there is with IHG, Hilton, Bonvoy, etc. It may be helpful to readers if you could shed some light on this in your article. Thanks!
